Rhonda’s award‐winning destination management company, Destination Nashville, has been serving the event and meeting planning needs of corporations and associations visiting the Nashville area since 1994. Since 2005, Destination Nashville has been named by Special Events Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Destination Management Companies” worldwide. In 2007, Women’s Business Enterprise Council named Rhonda as Nashville’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. Rhonda led Destination Nashville to be ranked on the Nashville Business Journal’s list of “25 Largest Women Owned Businesses in Nashville” since 2008 and list of “Best Places to Work in Nashville” since 2010. In 2015 Destination Nashville was named to the Nashville Business Journal “Best Places to Work in Nashville Hall of Fame.” In 2009 the Association for Destination Management Executives (ADMEI) named Rhonda as “2009 Destination Management Professional of the Year.” The Nashville Business Journal named Rhonda “2012 Woman of Influence.” In 2010, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean appointed Rhonda as Commissioner on the Transportation Licensing Commission where she continues to serve presently.
